Wherever possible, we identify beneficial uses for recovered materials that cannot be recycled or re-used in our products - such as in power generation. Our plastic packaging materials contain high BTU fuel content, making these materials efficient sources for use in municipal waste-to-energy incineration facilities
Because Sealed Air products are designed to be smaller and lighter they take up less space in landfills. For example, Instapak® foam cushions are highly compressible, occupying only 10% of their original volume in a landfill.
