Two high performance, multilayer structures for cook-and-freeze applications

Specifically developed for cook-and-freeze packaging applications, CN-600/CN-648 non-adhesion cook-in materials offer greater protection and merchandising appeal for fresh or frozen poultry and boneless beef. Once the casing is loaded, the product never has to be touched throughout the cooking, re-shrinking, and distribution process, substantially reducing the possibility of contamination.

• The material’s high shrink energy creates a tighter, smoother package for enhanced eye appeal and eliminates air pockets, wrinkles and unsightly ears.
• Hot water shrink process thickens and toughens the multi-ply material, making it exceptionally resistant to abrasion and puncture and able to withstand the normal abuses of shipment and consumer handling.
• Material remains soft and pliable, even at storage temperatures as low as minus 60° F, making it easy for operators to handle and load.
• Highly resistant to grease to help ensure high-integrity end seals.
• Exceptional gloss and sheen of this material make it a standout attraction in the display case.
• Available in two bag types: CN-600 is clear and CN-648 is white opaque.
