Cryovac® CN-614 & CNC-614 Cook-In Bags

An all-in-one packaging material for precooked deli products

These all-in-one, cook-and-ship materials offer excellent barrier protection as well as film-to-product adhesion and can withstand cooking temperatures of over 200°F.

  • High-energy shrink properties ensure a smooth, wrinkle-free retail package with optimum merchandising appeal.
  • Available in clear or white, plain or printed forms and can be heat-sealed or clipped.
  • CN-614 Bag is ideal for cooked beef, ham, and other products.
  • CNC-614 Bag has a contour seal designed to mimic the shape of a turkey breast after shrinking and cooking making it ideal for turkey breast applications.

CN-614 and CNC-614 Bags are designed for use with the Cryovac® 8490 Vertical-Rotary Chamber Vacuumizing Machine.

Cryovac® CN-514 Cook-in Bags

Tough, multi-layer, cook-and-ship packaging for a variety of deli products and food service meat products (molded or clipped)

Cryovac® CN-514 cook-in packaging materials provide many benefits for both processors and retailers: production efficiencies and operating economies (secondary packaging and repackaging are eliminated), and greater ease of handling at the retail level. These high-performance, multi-layer, coextruded materials offer a major cost advantage over moisture-proof fibrous material and dramatically improve yield by virtually eliminating cook-out through its high-energy shrink properties and excellent film-to-product adhesion.

  • Ideal for a variety of cook-in applications: deli ham, bologna, luncheon meats, corned beef and whole-muscle beef.
  • Can reduce operating costs because it eliminates the need for presoaking and repackaging; just ship the product "as is."
  • Skintight cling gives retail products a distinct merchandising advantage.
  • Available plain or printed and as a heat sealed bag or clipped casing.

Cryovac® CN-500 Bags & Casings

Tough, non-barrier, multi-layer, cook-and-strip packaging for molded processed meats and ham (molded or clipped)

CN-500 bags and casings are all-in-one, cook-and-strip materials that withstand cooking temperatures of 180° F when supported in a mold. They provide excellent film-to-product adhesion and it’s high-energy shrink properties ensure a smooth, wrinkle-free retail package with optimum merchandising appeal.

  • Specifically developed as an ideal liner for molded processed meats and hams.
  • Can easily be stripped off in one piece for slicing applications.
  • Available in plain or printed form and can be pigmented white.
  • Bags are available heat-sealed or clipped; casings are available in roll-form or shirred.

Cryovac® CN-360/CN-361 Cook-in Bags

Perforated Adhesion Bags

CN-360/361 cook-in bags are refined versions of proven cook-in materials that increase economy and bring added value to the processor. Perforation is useful for products that need to undergo a loss of moisture and/or be exposed to the oven for labeling purposes. Perforated bags eliminate the need for hand-perforating, thereby producing a cost-savings in certain applications.

  • Ideal for oven roasted ham, turkey, and beef products.
