TurboTag® Applications: Overview

As our Monitoring Process table indicates, multiple modes of use for a TurboTag® T-700 Tag are possible.

1. Stand-alone TurboTag® RFID accessories for mobile tag starting, reading, and/or printing of a graphical "strip chart" data summary.
2. Use a TurboTag® Service Provider who can pre-configure single-use tags for supply chain applications using a specially designed return mail pouch, and recycle tags that have completed a monitoring session between trading partners.
3. Both of the above options can be employed, making it possible to carry out temperature monitoring sessions without the need for a computer connection anywhere in the supply chain. Thus, end users who currently employ temperature data loggers, strip chart recorders, or time-temperature indicator labels without a need for computer access, can migrate to TurboTag® solutions without introducing any new computer systems.
4. If neither of options 1 or 2 are employed, a PC running Microsoft Windows® 2000 or XP running TurboTag® Session Manager Software and DR-1 Desktop Reader, provides a versatile base station for managing all aspects of a monitoring session with T-700 Tags.

Monitoring data saved by TurboTag® Session Manager Software as ASCII text can be imported into virtually any enterprise data management system.
