Sealed Air’s Cryovac® Brand Honored With Fifth Consecutive Food Processing Magazine’s Readers’ Choice Award

DUNCAN, S.C. (March 18, 2008) – Food Processing magazine’s readers gave Sealed Air’s Cryovac® Food Packaging top honors as a gold supplier of packaging materials, marking the fifth consecutive year the company has been selected for the Readers’ Choice Award. The Cryovac® brand also was selected as a silver supplier of packaging equipment.

The awards were announced in the March issue of Food Processing magazine. Gold, silver and bronze winners were selected in dozens of categories, including packaging materials and packaging equipment.

“What makes a Readers’ Choice Award different – and more meaningful than other awards – is that it’s the food processors that are picking the winners,” said Dave Fusaro, editor in chief of Food Processing magazine. “Processors aren’t following the direction of a magazine or an organization. For this year’s Readers’ Choice Awards, the magazine’s sixth annual listing, Food Processing surveyed more than 25,000 readers representing food and beverage companies. Readers representing suppliers or vendors did not take part in the survey.
