The No-skid, No-slip, tacky film

Duncan, SC (November 10, 2008) – Sealed Air Corporation, a leader in high performance shrink packaging for industrial and consumer goods, introduces New Cryovac® D-955TK, a versatile and reliable shrink film with new no-skid, no-slip features that is Food Law Approved.

No-skid Material

New D-955TK has an asymmetrical construction. One side has the slip of standard D-955 and the other side is tacky. This feature enables improved performance for hang tab, label and ink jet applications as well as products stacked in a pick-and-place operation. This allows for stacking and inventory control, reducing the amount of shelf space needed and allowing other multiple sku items.

Great for Transport

This “no-skid” material can be used as an over wrap for products to enhance pallet stabilization during transport and eliminate the need for additional stretch wrap. Additionally the “no-slip” feature protects product during transport thus reducing the amount of damaged goods and product returns to the manufacturer.

SFDA Approved/Microwave Safe

D-955TK is Food Law Approved making it microwaveable with enhancements for label and ink jet applications; New D-955TK is the perfect film for baking potatoes and other produce applications.

Multi-use Film with Optimal Production

Cryovac® D-955TK is the perfect film for unusually shaped objects and heavier products with sharp edges for multi-packing applications.
